About KiP
Founded in 2012, Kids in Philanthropy (KiP) has evolved to become one of Australia’s most talked about dynamic not for profit organisations.
KiP assist local community organisations to provide relief to those who need it most. Here at KiP, we believe that people of any age can help others – they just need the opportunity. In collaboration with our charity partners, KiP create bespoke volunteering programs for school aged children and their families to meet the needs of disadvantaged young people around Australia. Our volunteers assist young people experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, disadvantage and disability.
KiP mobilises children, parents and families across generations, to directly make a difference by working alongside charities who provide benevolent relief to those in need and make the world a better place.
The beauty of our programs is that as well as helping others, the participants in KiP sessions build social awareness, develop leadership skills and empathy, and strengthen their mental well-being.
Since inception, KiP has developed strong partnerships with over 20 local charities. It is through these relationships that KiP has been able to provide relief to thousands of young Australians in need. KiP has engaged over 2,500 children and their families at our sessions providing more than 5,500 hours of service.
Our aim is to continue to grow this culture of giving so even more disadvantaged young people can be provided with the assistance they need.
