KiP is delighted to be partnering with The Art Cabriolet to run a hands on volunteering session this school holidays. Please join us on Tuesday 18 April as we give The Art Cabriolet a helping hand.
The Art Cabriolet runs art therapy with sick children, victims of trauma and children nearing their end of life. Art Cabriolet uses art in all its mediums and forms to emotionally strengthen children dealing with physical or psychological distress resulting from trauma. You can read more about the amazing work they do here.
The Art Cabriolet is run by a few dedicated staff and they often need help with hands on sorting and painting to prepare them for the sessions they run. Come ready to sort, sharpen, count, toss, and check art supplies! Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
If you would like to bring along a donation on the day, please bring any new or used art supplies. This includes scissors, used/ new pencils, paints, paint brushes. In fact, any type of art supply you may have lying around the house will be put to good use! You may even like to purchase a few packets of pencils or brushes knowing that it is going to a very good cause.
$10 per person (plus processing fee). Please note, one adult per family/group must attend. Spaces are limited, so please be sure to book in soon! A portion of money raised through ticket sales will be donated to Art Cabriolet.
