Hangout for the Homeless (HOFTH) is an annual event run by Kids in Philanthropy (KiP). HOFTH is the only Australian family sleep out, where kids of all ages can learn about youth homelessness alongside their parents/guardians.

Hangout for the Homeless is a night where we ask kids and families to sleep rough. Sleep rough for this event means no sleeping in a bed! Registration $5 per person.
Hangout Hands On
It’s back changemakers! Come along on Saturday 2 June, 4 to 6pm for some hands on volunteering. You will be packing, sorting and making for local grassroots organisations who work with disadvantaged youths/families. This year, you are able to fundraise for Lighthouse by attending this event. Awesome. Tickets $15 per person.
Where does the money go?
KiP is supporting the Lighthouse Foundation. Lighthouse is a dynamic and innovative Australian social venture organisation breaking the cycle of homelessness for young people. They are skilled at empowering young people to take responsibility for their own lives.
